Fucking OneLiners! is a login program for PCBoard 15.1+ systems.
It has the following features:
■ Display random stat screens, unlimited amount, 8 packaged
■ Display add OneLiners with cursor-key color selection
■ Display last few callers
■ Display a Message from the Last Caller
■ Totally configurable ANSIs
■ Configuration program included
INSTALLING:
Decide where you want this to run at, usually in a INTRO file or some
other prompt that is displayed everytime. Make sure if you do add
it to a file it is on the first column. Add this line:
!x:\path\ONLR.PPE
...to run the main program. If you wish to use Message from Last Caller,
you must install the ONLROFF.PPE program. Replace PCBoard prompt string
192 with !x:\path\ONLROFF.PPE. You can configure the ansi to reproduce
your "Time Connected" prompt. You'll probably have to change all
the ansis to fit your system, my colors are (obviously) dark, grey,
and white.
CONFIGURATION:
Run ONLRCFG. You should see a menu of the program options. Options
are:
■ Security Minimum security a user has to have in order to
run. The program will not print anything if the
users security level is lower then this setting.
■ Stats Do you wish to display Stat screens? (Yes/No)
■ Number of Stat Stat screens are named STAT.x, you can have as
Screens many as you wish, they are picked (pseduo) randomly,
I included several from a FUD pack (thanks)
■ OneLiners? Use the OneLiners function?
■ Number of Number of OneLiners to keep, usually 15.
OneLiners
■ OneLiner Color Default color of the oneliners
■ Quotation Mark Uhh, huh, huh, the color of the quotation marks.
Color (uh, huh, what are those?)
■ Last Few Callers Display the last few callers?
■ Number of Callers Number of Callers to track.
■ Message from Display the message from last caller?
Last Caller
■ Last Caller When logging the last few callers, this is the
Comment user record to log. If you are not using the
"Notes" PSA then DO NOT use the Notes 1-4 because
I didn't add any checking.
MAINTENCE:
This program should be maintence free, however you may want to edit
data files to change oneliners etc. All data is stored in straight
text files, you should be able to use your fave ted to change those.
INFORMATION:
This was written with PPLC 2.00 using MS-DOS EDIT. The ONLRCFG.EXE was
written in PDS 7.00 and uses a BSAVE ansi sprite for inital screen
write. Below is a list of all the files and their purpose.
ONLR.PPE The Code, no command line switches. It will NOT
run if any files are missing, it WILL log those
errors to the callers log.
ONLROFF.PPE Code for getting a message from the user logging off.
ONLR.CFG Configuration file (duh)
ONLR01.DAT OneLiners. First number is the number of lines
in the file.
ONLR02.DAT Last Callers. Ok, so i just wrote it as a graphic
file... so sue me.
ONLR03.DAT Message the last caller left. First number reflects
number of lines in message.
ONLR04.DAT Names of the colors displayed. I picked some weird
ones. Names must be eight or less characters long.
ONLR01.PCB "Press [ENTER] to continue, [A] to advance past stats: "
ONLR02.PCB "OneLiners"
ONLR03.PCB "Add a oneliner?"
ONLR04.PCB "Color Format..."
ONLR05.PCB "Last Few Callers"
